Every detail shop asks for the same thing before it asks for anything else: a morning. Drop the car off, find a ride, come back at four.
We started The Detail Co. because that trade never made sense for the kind of work people actually want done. A proper detail takes hours by definition. There is no reason those hours have to be yours.
So the shop moved into the van. Steam, extraction, clay, polishers, pads, coatings, lighting, our own water and our own power — everything a good bay holds, loaded and ready to run in a driveway, an office lot, or under a carport in the rain.
We have stayed small on purpose. The same hands do the work every time, which is the only honest way to keep attention to detail from drifting. We walk the car with you before we start and again in daylight when we finish, because the fastest way to fix something is to hear about it while we are still standing there.
Most days we are somewhere within forty-five minutes of Gainesville. Some days we are further out, because the work is worth the drive. Either way, the answer to where we are is wherever the car is.
Convenience
We come to you, seven days a week, six in the morning to six at night. All we need is a place to park and a few hours. You keep your keys, your errands and your morning.
Craft
Steam, clay, polish and coating, each used where it belongs and nowhere it doesn't. The distance between clean and finished is mostly time, and we take the time.
Trust
The price for your vehicle is confirmed before we start, not after we finish. Licensed and insured on every visit, and everything we brought leaves with us.
